Baseball/Basketball cards

I have a friend who has a ton of baseball/basketball cards. Seems like most of them are from 1990 to 1993, there may be older ones but most from around that era. She has complete sets of upper deck, topps, fleer ultra and more. Actually she has duplicate sets and so on. I found several Jordan cards, Shaq, Pippin and complete sets of Team USA Olympic(basketball) cards. She wants my help selling them off, she knows nothing of sports cards, I'm not much better but I have access to the web and so on.

So whats the best source for accurate pricing? She had a bunch of Becket books also but they were 1992. Is this good? Any online sites that would be better than others? I ask cause I don't know doo-doo and want to make sure I don't get had.

Thanks for any info,

Shawn

I've got a collection of 100 year old baseball cards that I'm in the process of selling on Beckett.com.
Go to their site, and look for Dave Sliepka, he handles all the valuable auctions. They get 20%, but do all the advertising, promotion, grading, and will get top dollar. I think it's worth it. They are in Texas.
They just re configured their site, so it's busy and confusing, but get in touch with Dave.
