Mornin to ya'll, bed time for me. Nothing too terribly exciting going on. Passed my test good today, got my evening mess dress and my suit, that's about it.

Went and watched T4 tonight, it was pretty good, the ending was a little weak. Saw Star Trek the other day, too, it was really good. I hope they come out with more.

Good looking truck, Matt.

Ok, that's it. See ya'll in the morning/evening.

Wow, I'm impressed! Some of you actually read the daily history! COOL!

Ok, here it is;
On this day in 1774 - The Quartering Act, which required American colonists to allow British soldiers into their houses, was reenacted. (this will probably be RE-reenacted if we keep going the way we are!)

1851 - Maine became the first U.S. state to enact a law prohibiting alcohol. (Ironic, since it's almost a prerequisite to live there now!~)

1897 - Mark Twain, at age 61, was quoted by the New York Journal as saying "the report of my death was an exaggeration." He was responding to the rumors that he had died.

1924 - All American Indians were granted U.S. citizenship by the U.S. Congress.

1933 - U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt accepted the first swimming pool to be built inside the White House.

1935 - George Herman "Babe" Ruth announced that he was retiring from baseball.

1954 - U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy charged that there were communists working in the CIA and atomic weapons plants.

Sorry for the commentary, but sometimes I just HAVE to!

Uneventful trip home yesterday except for the thunderstorms we ran into in Ohio. Awesome lightening tho! Waited on Route 90 for about 2 hours last nite but Cincy never showed up... WIMP!

Farmer got our fields planted while we were gone and now the corn is already about 6" high. Haven't looked at the beans yet. Everything else looks like it's still in one piece and the sheep look happy to see me home.

First time in over 2 weeks that I've used a regular 'big' compter. I didn't even bring it to Mass with me, just brought the netbook. I love that little thing but I got used to the 5" or so screen, and now my 20" flat screen looks unusually BIG!

Maybe I'll get to try out the mill this week!

More great pics Blake, THANKS!

Thanks for the coffee Marc!

Bet yall like this...

4 wheeler, South Loose-e-anna style

This is a prototype of a new atv "running gear" designed by Wilco, the contractor that is laying the pipeline that Im working on. Its a Yamaha 700 atv with well, a track system. Its no slug either, top speed is 22 mph.

I just drool every time I see it, still trying to convince em to let me do some testing.

That's the weird kind of stuff I tend to build Blake. You sure you don't need a fabricator down there that can do more than stick pipe together?

Where the heck IS everyone today? Even Cincy's making like he has a job or something!

The evening coffee, tea and ph00 is ready for those who dare!

Mix 7p-7a or 11p-7a. Thought about you yesterday while sliding on my butt down a 60ft bank. Water was high and dark, didn't stay long.

exciting day in little town today. every cop in the area had drawn their weapon for the two lifers escaped from Arkansas. Hornell, NY is just off the interstate that every criminal takes to new york city. one in a million shot that a trooper is patrolling it. hornell is about fifteen miles off the back of our hill/mountain. I was at the Harley place picking up a speedometer cable, about two miles up from the scene. nice. no shots, no good guys or innocents hurt. very nicely done.

imagine a prison that makes guard uniforms.....how stupid can you get. we don't even allow the same colors in the facilities......or black. what was this place? privately run? sheesh.

did a little wood, drained the hot tub for placement outside (son took over apartment where it was) and took a little nap, beat the pants off my son on Wii (he did not take that well tee hee) ready to wander out to the barn.

whole lot of projects, not a lot of ambition.

Heidi who was poking through the box of tonka trucks (have a cement mixer!)
