Heidi, been keeping it iced in the evenings afterwork when it hurts, seems to help some. I'll try the no weight flexs next time and see how that goes. Seems like one day there is alot of pain and other days there isn't any pain.

Madhat, nice pictures you posted. I think your head hurting might be a little bit of a hangover.

Evening DTR. Had my sisters High School graduation last night and everyone went. Mom, dad, my aunt and uncle, the GF, grandpa, and I. Had a good time, it was outdoor at the HS football field. All of us went out to a awesome local pizza place(my sis's favorite resturant) for dinner.

Had a slow day at work. Went out to a friends after work to do more work. Did that VP44 job for a guy the other weekend, same guy wanted gauges installed in his truck too. Gauges came in this week so my buddy and i got most of the work done this evening on them. He's gonna finish them in the AM, all he has is to hook up a few wires and re-install the pillar.

GF's b-day is saturday, she's 26. I'm gonna go in the morning and get a few things for her. Going out for dinner and drinks for her b-day in the evening.

Relaxing and enjoying some ice cold friday night beer. Got Miller tonight.

Sorry, won't be able to stop by Claude. Gotta short turn around today, and if I get any sleep at all, I'm suppose to go by my brother's shower/cook-out which may not happen either.

Coffee's ready, dragon's been stoked up.

Matt, I have the same symptoms from time to time. Doctors that have looked at it tell me I have tendinitis. Supposed to keep off it for 2 or 3 weeks and it will be better. Yeah, right. Never had the opportunity to stay off it for that long so I don't know if that theory works or not. Oh, and happy birthday to the GF!

Morning all. Got the saw mill put in it's final resting place yesterday and started sawing timber to use to build a little 5' X 8' shed that will house the power unit when not in use.

Lots of history happened 'On This Day', but first and foremost, on this day in 1944 - The D-Day invasion of Europe took place on the beaches of Normandy, France. 400,000 Allied American, British and Canadian troops were involved.

1924 - The German Reichtag accepted the Dawes Plan. It was an American plan to help Germany pay off its war debts.

1925 - Chrysler Corporation was founded by Walter Percy Chrysler.

1932 - In the U.S., the first federal tax on gasoline went into effect. It was a penny per gallon.

1936 - The first helicopter was tested in a building in Berlin, Germany.

1941 - The U.S. government authorized the seizure of foreign ships in U.S. ports.

1942 - Japanese forces retreated in the World War II Battle of Midway. The battle had begun on June 4.

Today is D-Day as noted above.

1968 - U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy died at 1:44am in Los Angeles after being shot by Sirhan Sirhan. Kennedy was was shot the evening before while campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination.

And for you golden oldies who would remember such things, in 1971 - "The Ed Sullivan Show" aired for the last time. It was canceled after 23 years on the air. Gladys Knight and the Pips were the musical guests on show.

yes, tendonitis exactly. hence the cool packs and no weight flexes. does the job of reducing swelling and strengthen the ligament and alleviates the pain.
been around the block with staying off pain killers.

Yeah I'd have no chance in stayiing off it for that length of time, i'm always on my feet and doing work. Even on restricted work I still do alot. I'll tell the GF you said happy b-day!

Evening Heidi, yeah feeling pretty burnt out right now with everything going on. Only thing I'm not burnt out on is the wedding, thats holding my interest and giving me stuff to do.

Evening all, busy today with side work, dinner for the gf's b-day and went out afterwards with her and some friends. Tired now and will report back tomorrow sometime.

Oh yeah, whos turn is it to start the new breakroom/BBQ?
