2nd on the pics, All heros in my book.

My dad served in the Big Red 1 (1968-69) in Vietnam and has three Purple Hearts.

My brother was to be awarded one during his tour in Ramadi. He was doing an evac for a wounded Marine and the Humvee he was driving hit an IED. One of the Marines lost a leg in the explosion. My brother was cut up some, but when told he was going to receive the Purple Heart, he said in good conscious after seeing how bad his brothers were injured and he walked away that he would not accept it.

There is a video on youtube of the incident, but it cant be posted here. Who would have thought that Marines use strong language from time to time. I can pm the link to anyone interested.

 

Nice pics Mark.. You can spot a Marine a mile away in a crowd of 1000's. Perfect posture and always carry themselves well. I've seen every style of graduation ceremonies given by the military. NO ONE comes close to a Marine Corp graduation or presentation

very nice Madson. proud of you and your accomplishments. ok, white shirt or mess dress is different from dress blues. talk about racially balanced! those pics ARE the recruiting poster! very proud to be an American! just glad I was in the Army where we don't have to deal with all the fashion outfits......

ok, Matt, I made shore dinner tonight in about ten minutes. scallops, corn, cajun crawdads (no spice though hubby can't handle that) garlic bread with cheese and a labatt's summer blonde beer. mmmmmmmmmmm awesome for today's sun and work we did.

knew i'd go and blab......chaikwa isn't answering his phone- he is out trying to locate Fiverbob for some company.

Came home...drank a beer and took the fender flares of the wrangler. It's getting flat fenders tomorrow. I hope...haha. They are all powdercoated, just waitin for the help of one of my techs. Gonna go out for a bit here in awhile.
