Axle nut size on RAV-4

Alrighty, wife has a bad bearing on rear axle of her grocery getter. (96 RAV-4 4x4) Started pulling it apart last night and discovered in my entire collection of tools all I had to work with was the torch. She wouldn't let me use that for some reason. Anybody know what size that darn nut is? Seems to be about a 28-29mm, but don't want to buy wrong one. Could be the same on a Camry, they use alot of the same parts.

Have to special order the bearing assy, $89.00. Glad I don't fool with this thing too often.

Thanks,
Ed

Never Mind...Measured one here at work this morning with calipers. 30mm it is..

Still think the torch idea would have been just as good, wives just sometimes don't understand

Thanks again,
Ed

Actually yes she was, but that's not a bad thing. She is very mechanically gifted. Her first collector doll when she was little was a reward for rebuilding a engine under her dads supervision. My neighbor still owns the truck, IH w/345 bulldog, and it still runs.

I was just kinda peeved about having to deal with it last night. Wanted to saddle up one of the horses and play a little. Guess I'll do that tonite after work if I get home in time.
