Awesome brownie Recipe

Since the holidays are coming up, I thought I would share one of my most treasured recipes' with my DTR friends. I must warn you though they are very addicting, and I'm sure there prolly not very healthy . But try them, and see how you like them. Enjoy.

KILLER BROWNIES

60 caramels (Kraft)
1/2 cup evaporated milk

1 box German Chocolate cake mix (Betty Crocker)
3/4 cup melted butter
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup nuts (optional)

1 12-ounce package chocolate chips

Mix caramels and ½ cup evaporated milk in a bowl, melt in the microwave, and set aside.

Mix cake mix, ¾ cup melted butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.

Grease and flour a 9 X 13 pan (Pyrex is best).

Spread ½ of batter over bottom of pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. *

Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked layer.

Spread caramel mixture over chocolate chips. *

Spread remaining batter over caramel layer. *

Return to oven and bake for 18 – 20 minutes (Do not overbake).

Refrigerate and cut.

* The term “spread” is used rather loosely here
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A SUPER SHARP KNIFE WITH LOTS OF BACKBONE TO IT .THEY ARE PRETTY HARD TO CUT WHEN DONE RIGHT.

EDIT: Make sure brownies are thoroughly cooled before attempting to cut them.

I had a feeling the special "herbal" ingredients would come up. Do not discuss that subject any further.

Not sure how cooked plastic would taste, but I always unwrap them first .

Please guys don't get this locked out. There are several members that have not had the chance to get this great addition to there arsenal.

I was just playing ZILLA04, about the plastic wrap.

The Last line wasn't geared towards you or the others who were in the thread to get the recipe. Just the ones who were gonna get it locked.

Me: Hey, I got this new brownie recipe for ya'
Her: Where did you get that from?
Me: Uh, uhm, errrr
Her: Well
Me: From the internet
Her: Where on the internet?
Me: Uh, DTR, that truck website I go to alot
Her: Dork
Her: What recipe are you gonna trade with your recipe club next?

Oh well,
If they taste as good as the recipes sounds, she can call me any name she wants.
