Thought this would be interesting... What is your age? When did you get your first diesel?

I'm now 22. Going to college in the big city now. Kind of a pain in the *** to park sometimes but it's worth it... Got my first diesel (95 Ram 2500) with 280K miles on it for $5k a couple years ago...

 

I got my first diesel when I was 16 thanks to the help of my father. Now I'm 18 and a half. I figure I've got a good start thanks to places such as this and TDR and I plan to go all the way. Hopefully I can pick as much knowledge from you old fella's as possible and bring some interest/competition to my part of the woods. I've also got a couple buddies on there way as well. This fall I'm enrolled in a fairly big diesel course at community college and I plan to hit it full bore. We all gotta start somewhere eh.

On edit: The 93 is my first and it's not going anywhere . Consider her a future rebuild and bomb truck... where my start was made.

New off the lot on March 1st, 2002, so that'd make me 35 before I saw the light.

Bicentennial baby here. Holding on to the roaring 20's another 3 months.......

Last year I thought I was still 27 (seriously) my wife looked at me funny when someone asked how old I was, up until then I didn't even know that I had been 28 for over 6 months.

 

28 here.. im on my second diesel.. first was an 01 f-250, i liked it alot and somtimes regret getting rid of it but that was a while ago.. bought an 06 dodge charger thinking i could be happy with a nice car.. i was for about 6 months, and now am the proud owner of an 06 2500 crewcab 4x4. i love this truck except for the death wobble after i put 2" spacers and 35"s but ohh well. 2 of my buddys have picked up 06 2500's since i got mine and told them what i paid for it... P.S. i love this forum.

 

21 here...2nd Cummins, but the first is a Work truck. The second one is my Sales call rig

Ran, yes. All the knowledge is with them older folks too.

Most of the brainless populating and posting comes from us younger masses, however.

I, for instance, have as many posts on the "Other" forum as anything else, and I am under 34.

21 here and on my 3rd diesel. F250, 01 dodge, now the 03. I want a 12v now but need to chill gosh we move to fast when young huh!! Naw I love my diesel and wouldn't trade it for nothing. Aaron
