Yep....Going run us guys out who paint there own vehicles...I'm going to stock up also...Water born paints are coming in and the standard enamel and clear coats will be gone....I will try it once when all stocks are gone the water born clear..The way it looks the drying time is going to be 3 times between coats...I can't afford those expensive dryers..that they use for water born.Found out that water born paints are going to be way more expensive to buy than standard paints....

 

This just stinks......I called a couple of places and it looks like, they are going to cut us off(Canada) this year in paint supplies.Any paint products which says "professinal use only" will not be sold to the public any more..Only will be sold to a body shops and someone with autobody ticket...What the heck...Got to go back to school to get a ticket, just to buy paint..I thought fine,I will stock up,problem is,a person has to decide now on base colors for future restoration projects.Then the water born thing is next to hit us...I thought the clear coat will be water base....No its the base coat....I don't get it....The base coat doesn't fog the garage at all compared when a person starts the clear coat...I don't understand these regulations....Going to land up yet, in the back alley,buying paint like a crack head..Now I have to spend money to have extra paint for ever restoration before I get shutdown for doing my own paint jobs....So much for restoring cars when I retired...
