Not to hijack, but does anyone have a link to a good guide to Idaho riding areas? (Either web page, or book).

DmaxEter, If you are planning on coming to Colorado you will have to make it quick or plan on bringing a snowmobile!!! Seriously though, this is agreat time of year to ride. Snowcapped mountains, aspens changing colors, and the weather has been beautiful. I believe that private property would stop a person from riding from Silverton to Durango, but you could spend years exploring public lands and not see the same place twice. You would not regret coming to SW Colorado!!!

I dont have time to post much rite now but go threw my pics in the Photobucket link in my sig. There area hundreds of pics of the last 4 years worth of Colorado wheeling in there. We go to Taylor Park Colorado every July and ride for 7-9 days straight and have done it 5 times now and still havent seen it all. We usaly ride for 8-10 hours a day and put 70-100+ miles on a day. There is more there than you could ever ask for. We talked to one Forest Ranger a couple years ago that claimed there was around 1000 miles of marked and mapped trails in his district alone plus countles more unmarked and mapped trails.

Great pics. Boy, some of those places sure look familiar. I've never been off road much around Aspen, but it sure looks interesting.

Also, most of my treks up there have been just me and the dog....three different ones.
