So who is in the running for the head coach job and what the heck was up with Fran's $1200.00 news letter? Is that a real deal or urban legend. You'd hope a guy making fair money would not **** it away over that.
Mike Sherman! I am looking forward to his connections and seeing who he brings in for his OC/DC-- I think the wrecking crew is on their way back!
Awesome game to be at...had a blast and tailgating was great as always, we finally shut down about midnight!

We'll see within the next few months. Fran had talent, he just didn't use it as well as he could have. You should be able to google KXTX and see his press interview.
Write me down as another proud Ag who was thrilled to see the poor t-sips get dominated by a "less talented" Aggie squad. WHOOP!!
As for Sherman, I'm taking a wait-and-see approach. I was really excited when Fran came on board and was left very disappointed. Sherman sounds like he has potential, but until he proves he can measure up I'm not getting TOO excited.
I will say this though. According to an article I read he asked to be paid LESS than what Fran was making because he wanted to have more money to hire good assistants. Fran's salary was $2.3M per year and Sherman's is $1.8M per year. Rumor was that A&M was willing to offer the right person up to $3.5M per year, so hearing that he asked for less in order to pay his assistants more really says a lot for him.
