Does anyone know how to take out the ash tray of a 2002 ram 2500. Reason for removal is I would like to tie in my trany temp gauge light. I now have it pushed in a extra fuse spot in my fuse block, along with my C.B. Now my light is on when ever the key is on, which is still okay. Would rather have light wire tied into ash tray light or cup holder light, that way when I dim my dash lights my trany temp light will also dim. I read on this fourm some place where someone did what I'am going to try to do, but can't remember who. Also if their is two wires going to the light, which one is the hot one.<br>Any help in this area would be appreciated. To take out the ash tray on mine, all you have to do is pull up and out more or less. Just tug on it in different directions till it comes out.
