I started investing in copper and brass the day after the Nov elections.....

 

GLD, bought it around 60-70 before Obamanation was elected. Will be played out at around $150-160 though in my opinion.... At that point I want more brass as pictured above or gold bullion I can steal when everything goes to poo-poo. Gold may be good to find ways to short when it peaks.



When you buy coins make sure you buy by the ounce, but really it's too high to buy like that right now unless you are a pawn shop buying scrap.

 

Been doing this ever since the prices dropped. Eric @ Ammoman.com runs a Yahoo group and I get weekly updates on sales for everything they have in stock.

I bought a few oz. about 7 years ago, had to cash it in to pay some bills. It doubled in price in those years so I made out pretty good.

When I get back on my feet I will invest again.

I also used to prospect for gold as a hobby. Have got about 2.5oz in fine and small nuggets. Had to stop due to a disabilty. That was hard, once ya get gold fever thats all you want to do is get out in the streams and dredge.

 

And don't forget the weapons and magazines to go with it!!
