Anyone here have a pressure washing business??
Anyone here have a pressure washing business??
Im trying to start a small business on the side in the summer for some extra beer money and ive been tossing around the idea of a pressure washing business. My dad used to own a res/commercial painting company when I was in my teens and I worked with him for a few years and we did alot of pressure washing so im pretty familiar with the process.
I dont want to do any real huge jobs (commercial buildings, large parking lots, etc.) I really just want to keep it small (Medium size houses, decks, patios, etc etc.) But its been awhile since ive done or priced any work like that. Can anyone here give me any pointers? What kind of money are you charging? How do you charge it? (Hourly, sq footage, other?)
Any guidance or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks all!

It is a part of my business.. I get 40.00 an hour.. Be careful on decks not to scuff them with the HP H20. and do not blow paint off peoples houses really check them out before you agree to do it and point out any problem spots. Be sure to list them in writing and get the cust to sign.
