Im gonna follow Kane in his dodge again. He's young, cocky, aggressive, and just needs to tick a few more people off.

I'll be glued to the TV this weekend and In the Infield at the California Speedway relaxing in the 40 footer..

Edwards all the way this year... Good guy and usually a clean driver..

I too have lost my interest in NASCAR - way too corporate and boring... It's not just NASCAR, it's most of the racing I see in the U.S anymore; but NASCAR gets really boring for me driving around in a circle.

I think it's time to go back to 'run what you brung' and stop penalizing stellar teams. Look what happened to IRL - they got away from CART because it was so expensive to run in CART. Now CART is cheaper to run than IRL. And at least CART (or it's new name) tries to run on road courses.

I'm actually looking with interest at the F1 series this coming year. It appears that they're loosening some of the rules, and making rule changes for the motors. Hopefully it'll be interesting. I was at the F1 debacle last year in Indy - what a disaster. But, my friend and I got free (better) tickets this year. Gawd I hope they don't pull the same stunt this year :-)

Thumbs down

NASCAR sucks compared to what it used to be...I remember when it was up to engine builders and not plates . Old school NASCAR rocked. I like some of the new drivers but I dislike the cars (slower), fans (front runners) and some of the newer crap rules. I might see the race here and there but I can't sit and watch the whole thing.

we need more sears points and watkins glens. road courses are sooo much more interesting than ovals, or at least put in a chicane or two into an oval. i do get a hoot out of australian v8 supercars. its pretty simular to the cars run at 24 hour races and they run on nothing but road courses

I watched that 24 do his thing last night also, that was some spin with 3 to go, lucky the spinner was at the back of the pack. Restrictor plate restart, green white checker..... with the cars neatly stacked and all going the same speed at the checkered

Talking Been waiting since Jan.

I've been waiting all year for nascar to start, Imagine the dissapointment when I realized that Daytona is on wy wife's B-day. I don't know who is more bent, my wife because she knows that her B-day will be spent watching the race, or me because I know that she is not too happy about it. She isn't too mad though because I will be taking her shopping on saturday We have gone to Vegas several times, and are planning to go to speedweek in Datona in the future. Probably not too soon though, we have an 18 month old and another due in the first part of july. I'm sort of lost though, since the INTIMIDATOR was killed I don't know who to cheer for. Ilike Jr. but he isn't doing too well. I also like tony stuart and elliot sadler. I just love watching 43 cars going mach turkey all within a few INCHES of each other. I LOVE NASCAR

I been a big NASCAR fan since about 7 years old. always pulled for Dale. But now he's gone racing in a better place, I have no choice but to root for the next generation. GO DALE JR. Watch for him in victory lane come sunday afternoon.
