Anybody try to update the Magellan Roadmate 2000?
Tried to do the update for my Magellan to 1.56. Got the updated loaded on the laptop OK. Hooked up the Magellan to the coputer via USB cable, the unit showed the connection ok, but when it is supposed to download the laptow says "Error, can not find the Roadmate. The automated tech support cant answer it.
I will have to try to get a real person that I can understand on tech support. Never had much luck with their support.

I know a guy with a magellan and I don't like it. I have a garmin. Any way I just did an update to my garmin and I had to reload the USB drivers to get it to the GPS. Also the software had changed how it downloaded so I had to figure that out as well.
