Any Plastic Painters Here?

I 'm in need of a little assistance here. I have my sled (snowmobile) all torn down and im ready to start painting it. How should I go about prepping the plastic for paint? Any recommendations on a certain paint to use? I was given a spray gun that's ran off a air compressor but I' m clueless when it comes to painting, im going to give the spray gun a try and see how that turns out compared to a rattle can job.

The whole sled is going to be Black except for the skis. Thanks.

I painted my motorcycle fender and the only thing the paint manufacture recommended was using a adhesion promotor prior to painting,

also use a flex agent so the paint remains flexable. if not it will crack and flake off
