Unhappy Any one have trouble on ebay with....

I ordered a set of the RV275 injectors over a month ago. (see sig) They said the MO never arrived. I went to the PO and they said it was cashed 2 weeks after I sent it. I'm sending them another email after this post. Never had any trouble on ebay, so wondering what would be good to do. Anyone every deal with this seller. Are his claims legit? I know, a little late since the money was already sent out. -Bob

He has a very good feedback rating so I would think that it is just a mix up at this point. Since you have the ability to track the cashing of the MO, I would think that this will be easily resolved once you talk with them again.

After a month I would file an arbitraion request with e-Bay. There is no reason why you should not be in contact with the guy. Don't wait, do it today. These eBay sellers need to be responsive to buyers, expecally after you paid them. Don't leave negative feed back until you get your parts then blast him. There is no excuse for a month of no contact. A month is too long to wait for anything let alone an e-mail.

Only thing I thought was fishy was that he was not hounding me about not getting paid, so it "seems" that he knows he cashed it. I will email him today and see what he says. Dont want to **** him off and never get my parts.

No prob. He seems to have tons of them. I bid on one and it seemed like the next day another set was listed. Not a bad thing if it is a business, so i figured it should be a good deal. Well sent off an email and now the waiting game. I'll keep ya posted to see if he holds up or not. Dont want to condem if it was a simple overlook.

When and if you can, use paypal to pay your sellers, that way you know you will be protected. I have had to get a refund from paypal twice because of bad sellers.
The only bad thing is that you have to file a claim within a month.
Good luck

My recommendation would be to request contact information from Ebay for the seller and CALL him. You will get much farther talking on the phone than you will with e-mail...not to mention that you don't have to sit and wait for a response.

I've done this before on something I sold and it turned out that the guy had changed his e-mail address and forgot to change it on Ebay....so he was never getting my e-mails.

paypal is good stuff... that's all i use when on ebay... if paypal doesn't step up for the problem, you can always go at it through your CC company

Ok got an email back from him. I guess he might have thought that my claim was from a more recent purchase hence why he said the MO never arrived. Well he checked his records, and it was sent out. He gave me a tracking number also. . He was very nice and help so far. I asked him to email me the actual address I sent him, since on the notes on the package tracking it says the apt number was wrong. Package tracking says it was delivered to the apt complex's frontdeskThey never let me know I got a package, and never got a note on the door stating the UPS was by. I have since been in the office and they never told me about any package. (they know me by name due to complaints from our 70 Challenger 451 10.5:1 with dual 3" 2 chamber flowmasters Quite loud when ya work nights and it echos off all the apt buildings. ) Well anyways I got a friend going over there to see if they will hand over the package. updated my sig now. Dang all I want is my first bomb mod for Xmas!!!!

I think you'll find that anyone on eBay that can go 2 years with several hundred feedback entries and have a 100% rating is on the up and up. And when contacted they will be MORE than happy to help resolve situations. The internet is nothing if not a vehicle for delivering confusion faster.

I had a similar problem just recently, (never any problems before),and come to find out, Pay-pal/E-bay has had some computer glitches with there software, so the sellers are being notified late or not at all. Just an FYI.

I agree, I have 275 pos feedbacks over 3 years and from both selling and buying and the only time I ever received a neg was from two people in the USA that left the neg feedback before I received their MOs Once I received their MO I sent there items and wished them a good day. One the the post office sent to the same address in another Province because the idiots writing was so bad it was hard to make out and the other I dont know,it just took 3 weeks (Mail?) However with online payments I have both received and sent items from the Canadian west coast to the US east coast in 5 working days via Canada post<> USPS reg ground, however I have had it take weeks for the same Also Canada post includes $100 Ins so any thing over I recommend the purchaser to pay the extra for ins ($1.40 per $100) and as a seller I will gladly handle the claim and refund the purchasers money once the time limitations are met.
Online payments are the safest and fastest plus a member that takes them runs the risk of losing the payment if the item dosent show up so I dont think a person that takes them will be a scammer. I would be very leary of a cash or MO transaction only. Ohoh I'm babbling again In short there are many people involved in a Ebay sale and many places for error so dont be too quick to assume what may have happened, most errors I have seen were on the delivery companys end.
Just my $.000002

I'm mostly an eBay buyer, not a seller, but I'd say you got really lucky at five days. It seems like every time I win an auction from a Canadian seller it takes forever for it to get here. And I can tell by the postmarks it's not the seller's fault, it just took a long time in transit.
