The reason I ask is because I have this like 70's harley davidson golf cart and I'm trying to get it running. It's sat for years and I dont know what all needs to be done. Anyway this cart I think is supposed to have 2 belts a big one and a littler one I think but all it has is the bigger one. I can take a pic if anyone thinks they can help. So far, I couldn't find the key so I bypassed the key and now when I try to go it like runs the starter but wont start. It doesnt fire or anything. What should I do? Any ideas?

 

The missing small belt should run from the starter/generator to a pulley between the primary clutch and the engine to turn the engine over. There are a few sources for parts for the old Harley carts (made by AMF) but they are getting hard to get a hold of. Let me know if you need anymore help. Unfortunately, I have had a fair amount of experience with them.
