Another Virus Warning (Legit)

The virus protection being used is only as good as the current virus list it's working against. I guess they're always one step behind the idiots concoting the bugs. Last I heard, our CIS boys were pretty stressed here trying to individually fix over 200 infected PC's. Personally, when I got the message, it had "VIRUS!" written all over it, so didn't launch it. The file has a .pif extensiion which is very old Microsoft Widows code.
They let .zip files come through in e-mail without being scanned?

Thats wacky.....I saw this post this morning but didn't pay it no mind. Left the computer for a few, came back and checked my e-mail. Had a message from UC Berkeley regarding my application....I'm thinking * ? Berkeley? Liberal spawning ground/think tank? Center of the protester universe?

I can't remember the last time someone I don't know sent me a legitimate e-mail with an attachment... <br><br>PIF is the extension for Program Information File, used in Windows to configure DOS environment, memory size and type and other settings (window size, etc.) for DOS programs running in Windows.
