Wife and I are coming up on an anniversary soon, and I was looking for ideas as to what to do for us. Trips or traveling are not in the budget, was looking for more ideas as to what I can plan, that would be a good time. The normal dinner/movie is getting old, so.....something out of the ordinary ideas.

Ex: A friend of mine on Valentines day, put a trail of Hershey kisses from the gront door to the upstairs as his theme, was "I kiss the groud you walk on". I thought that was a neat idea, what other cool things like that do you guys do for your better halfs?

 

Did this one year, took her to our favorite B & B. Had flowers delivered to the room before we arrived. We had a private dinner with our favorite wine and the proprietor located a nice young man to play the guitar for us during dinner. Love songs from the 70's and 80's. It was pricey but she's always loved the memories.

 

every year for the last ten years, I send the BOSS a nice card with a note reminding her how lucky she is that I am here...............

 

the "kiss" idea is interesting, I would just have to do something with the dog as she would eat the kisses as fast as I put them down.

What does your wife enjoy?
B&B can be reasonably priced.
Even just a local suite for the weekend. Just to get away from things.
