America - the different

Just saw that post about dropping a huge pumpkin on a poor defenseless car and that got me thinking about the many ways that makes America so different to the rest of the world and consequently so hard for other nations to understand America. It may be fun to list some of the crazy and fun things that make America different. I will start with a few, but let's see you add lots more:

- Dropping pumpkins on cars.
- Watermelon spitting contests.
- Shooting watermelon with huge catapults
- Racing old RV's
- Drag racing
- Huge potato guns
- Combine racing.

Its easy to understand Stan.

People have interpreted Americas fundamental rights of Freedom of Speech, Religion, Press and Assembly as the fundamental right to be a flippin idiot.

I guess what Im trying to say is:

Just because you CAN do something, doesnt mean you SHOULD!

Billy the Exterminator

That is supposed to be a comedy right?

Anyone from another country that watches that crap has got to be flabbergasted.

Figure 8 racing with trailers and destruction derby are my favorites.

How about big rig racing on Pikes Peak.

Bar stool racing.

We obviously have too much time on our hands and plenty of toys!

alot of what we "do" are spectators sports. followed with a "dont try this at home", but the other countries, thats part of life. 160 kph in bumper to bumper traffic is a morning commute.
