This afternoon I finished that grading job from yesterday, and was leaning on the back of my truck talking to the property owner. The same fool drove by. I told him what had happened yesterday, he said "That same truck? He's the taxidermist that lives right up the road here, if you wanna talk to him. He flies past here when the siren goes off". I've cooled down some now, but yesterday I was ready to talk to him with the big cheater bar for my chain tighteners. I think I will mention it to their chief. The way things are around here, that's like as not to start a p1ssing contest between their station and ours.

Guess I could always take him a #1 prime ripened roadkilled groundhog or snapping turtle or something and insist on having it mounted creatively. One that you have to peeeel up off the road, by the tail, with vice grips.
