I'd say I'm 90% immune to it. If i get into it, and wash my hands or whatever comes in contact with it off within an hour or so, I won't have any symtoms at all. If i just roll around in it and rub it all over and never wipe it off, even then it's only mildly irritating. I know people who seem to catch it just looking at it though!!!

Can't say that I really know ... don't think I have ever been in contact with the stuff. I get pretty itchy from the stinging nettles out here in the forest ... I would assume I would react to poison ivy or poison oak also.

Yup. Didn't even realize I touched it one day and the next thing I know it's all over my arms and stomach and back. It was bad.

It never has bothered me but my oldest son has been to the hospital twice over it. My 2 girls it don't bother either and my youngest son will get a mild case. Weird stuff.

Nettles get me pretty bad but poison ivy doesn't. I can roll around in it all day and as long as I wash it off in a reasonable amount of time I will be fine.

I had the same problem...but it only broke out on my face. This was not good....people seem to give you funny looks when your eye is swollen and your face makes you look like a burn victim.

I hope you're down wind from me. I get it pretty bad, I can spot the stuff a mile away. I'm amazed I don't have any near the cabin anywhere. The stuff is all over the Pine River down the road. My mother gets it bad too. We're convinced the the more frequently you get it, the worse you react. I'm not so sure people are immune to it, just probably not good conditions when they were around it. Stay away from the vines in the winter too. Of course, evreybody should experience it once... it builds character...

I would never get it as a kid and grew up in a small town next to a creek I could roll around in it and would not get it, then about 4 years ago I was cleaning behind a buddys barn and it was thick, 6 days later was in the hospital with 103 fever and in my mouth and eyes and throught. Had it on my wrist up to my elbows so bad my arm was about 3 times bigger. Now if I Know Im going to be around it I take this pill my father in law gave me that really minimizes its efect pretty cool stuff. I will try and get the name for you.
