The "Big Boy" UP's 4 8 8 4 is at JACK LONDON Sq..and will be so untill 0900 at which time it leaves for Stockton.So,Kreig,either Martinez or Oakland for you(in traffic).

Big Boy was the name given to the Union Pacific Railroad's twenty-five 4000 class 4-8-8-4 articulated steam locomotives built between 1941 and 1944 by Alco.

That looks like the one that came threw here last fall. It was HUGE. It came from Cheyan(sp) wyoming and went to Minniapolis for a show then back to Wyoming where its housed.
