What have I missed?
This is the first time I've been on here in months it seems. It's the work thing!
What juicy tidbits have I missed? Someone mentioned there might be a 1st gen gathering in Jacksonville, NC this summer? Heck, maybe I already missed it!
Truck is running great, and I've been using B20 now for months with no ill effects.
I did notice something interesting about my truck. The other day I was next to a stock 1st gen 4x4 with the original 16" steel wheels and I was surprised how high the truck sat in the back - much higher than mine. I wonder if the previous owner took out a couple leaf springs in the back so it would ride better. He had back problems and that's the only reason he sold it.

I've seen alot of threads on this. The 4x4's sit lower in the back because of the axle block being 1 inch shorter than later years. You can buy new blocks and install them to correct this. It's a pretty easy job... just unbolt the U bolts and get longer ones with the taller spacer blocks and slap it back together.
