Just a sketch of the 6000 hp V-16 twinturbocharged 7HDL diesel engine used in the GE AC6000 Locomotive!

Those are big. I had the privelidge to work 2 summers ago helping fab compressor stations. Nothing like being around 16 cylinder Waukesha and Cat motors screaming 10hrs. a day.

There was a building with 4 on them dudes in it. the other three where running the whole time we where working on the one. man it was hot and loud in there. you definately have to wear ear plugs or you will go deaf!!<br><br>i did not consider it a privelige. i kept trying to figure out what i did to get punished like that!! i liked the experience, but it was not fun.
