97 corolla help, oil in spark plug hole

hey guys, noticed some oil coming out of my cylinder 1 spark plug cable vent hole, then i noticed that my hole where the spark plug goes is flooded with oil, car runs fine despite this, but what could be causing this? ps corolla has 241k

Vlave cover gasket. There is an o-ring type gasket under the valve cover that seal out the oil from the spark plug tubes. Usually the new gasket comes with 4 of these o-rings. Fairly easy job to do.

thank you boys...i got it done already, not a bad job at all...even got a look at the timing belt in the process, still looks good
