69 Super Bee Speedshop car
This is my Super Bee, it was left for dead in the projects around the NC/SC border since the early 90s i was able to scoop it up in 08. The paint is weathered as is the sheet metal in many places. However i cant really afford a restoration no do i really want to so... I came up w/ the idea to make it look like it was Speedshop Promo car from the 70s being drag raced and parked left untouched since the late 70s. I painted a logo, added slapper bars, Magnisium looking wheels, a 6 pak hood, and vintage hotrod stickers that i sanded and picked at the edges to give a weathered look to match the paint and age of the car. It has a very warmed over 383, balanced, 10:1 compression, Big valve aluminum heads, Eddy RPM intake, Roller cam, roller rockers, and a 750 double pumper. I hope you Cummins guys can appreciate the car that my 1st gen is assigned to pulling around! Let me know what you think

Super Cool! I love stuff like that.
When I was a kid in a small town in northern San Diego we had a drag shop named Smoky's. The guys would call the Sheriff out to Rainbow, about 20 miles north, then pull the dragster out and run it down Main Street, crazy but really fun to watch as a kid.
I only actually saw it once, but we would hear it all the time on Saturday nights.
They finally got caught, but just a slap on the wrist back then....
Nice job on the antiquing!!

Great ride !
Thanks for saving another one. Too many pineapples out there have them sitting in their yards rotting away, and when you ask them if they would sell them .... they just give you the same old "I'm gonner fixer up one day" routine
Congrats on having her...
