Thumbs up "6 bent wheels" update: fixed

A while back I had a vibration in my '95 dually at 70-75mph +. I took it to Belle Tire (mistake) where they re-balanced my wheels & told me all 6 were bent ...causing my vibration.
Like an idiot, I believed them , but didn't buy anything (luckily).
I talked to the previous owner of my truck & he said he had those same wheels on his '99 Ram dually & they did NOT vibrate at all.

So, yesterday, I was checking the underside of the truck & noticed I could push the driveshaft up/down in the center support bearing. My old man took it upon himself to dis-assemble, buy the parts & fix the truck himself while I was at work. The center bearing ended up being toast & a dealer only part to the tune of about $100. He also got the rear u-joint replaced while things were apart.

I took it on the freeway after we stuck it all back together, vibration is gone, even at 90mph

This Belle Tire is beginning to aggravate me...all I wanted was my truck fixed. I can't stand it when people/places will just try to sell you something & ignore the main problem. Then again, they don't care if you spend $5000 to fix a $50 part.

Did you shim it down any?

Alot of guys are having luck shimming the carrier bearing down 1/2" - 1", helps with some of the vibration some guys are having.

I think I actually have some spacers for it too, from the superlift kit, let me know if you need them.
(Not hard to make, I know, but shoot, theyre already cut/drilled and fancy non-rusting coated)
