well i got back fri night from texas for 25 days. i put 4,980 miles round trip on the scoot. came back through okla, ark, tenn, and rode the dragons tail in tenn/nc border. that was awesome. but i got down there just in time for the dang hurricane which messed all kinds of stuff up for my family, but we'll recover. Thanks be to God for protecting the animals and every one else.

I seriously need to get some miles on mine too.

Let me know if you ever feel like a trip out to Nevada. The wide open high desert is a magic place. And we could tilt a couple of brews afterward.

 

yeah, me and about 4 or 5 of my buds that ive served with are gonna make a trip out west next spring from nc to ca. we dont know our route yet, but i cant wait to ride out west. i cant get enough of it. this is perhaps one of the best investments ive ever made.

 

we rode out the high plains of colorado last year,

very late one evening, as sun went down and sky turned purple, we had an awesome thunderstorm / heat lightning show

if you don't believe in a Creator, you will when you see your whole horizon lit up by lightning.

i saw the sky similar to that coming into state line about to cross into memphis and there was a fire somewhere so the lighening looked pretty cool mixed with a partly cloudy sky, and smoke. cant wait to ride long distance again.
