Wildlife Game Cameras. Which is a Good One?

Well after my neighbor, 1/4th mile away captured a couple Interesting photos, I Decided I want one also. Last saturday at about 1:30 PM in the afernoon, his photo dated and photographed two elks passing in front of his camera..later the same day at 3:31 PM, his camera photografted a large MT Lion..going in the same direction..lol So what is a good brand..I don't want the cheap "Throw Away" ones..but also don't want the very expensive ones either..how about the Moultrie Game Spy I-40 Digital Trail Camera..I see Ebay has them for around $210.00 + - ..I need the ones that you dont have to change the battery every week..need about 6 weeks between the battary change.. any suggestions?? How long does the battary last in the winter?? Thanks in advance...

Make sure it's a digital one. A buddy of mine had one outside his back yard and in 24 hours the same dumb cow and calf moose used up the 36 exposures. That gets expensive to develop after a while...

i had a bushnell (the top of the line with the LED flash) i guess i got a bad one, because i couldnt get it to take a picutre. so i took it back and bought a stealth cam. it has a lcd screen on it that lets you preview the captured images on the spot. real handy! it was ~200 bucks

battery life is 150 days

I just got rid of the stealth cam I had, had a lot of trouble with it not taking good pics, no way to fix, so I got a moultrie, 5 mp, infrared night pics. in one week it took more good pics than the stelath cam took in a month. the one I got was from Cabela's, went with a well know company to avoid gettin screwed on a 250 dollar item. it takes up to 4 gb media cards, I can select still images, or video, and numbers of exposures per trip, and set what length videos to shoot if at all. takes 4 D batts so it should last a long time before they die. first week up it took 200 pics of deer, fox, squirrels, birds, no pics of the bear yet that is trying to knaw into my feeder.
