It was bad enough it knocked both nuke units off line in Mineral and all four diesels fired up. That's pretty serious.
We got shook a little here but both are still on line here.

I felt the floor moving below me in Greenwich, CT. Wondered what the devil was going on, thought someone had backed a truck into a building support!

I have relatives in Boston, VA - which sounds pretty close to the center of this quake

We started it in Colo:

The magnitude 5.3 quake hit at 11:46 p.m. MDT Monday about nine miles southwest of Trinidad, or 180 miles south of Denver, according to the U.S. Geological Survey's National Earthquake Information Center in Golden. It had an estimated depth of 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) and was felt in a relatively large area of southern Colorado and northern New Mexico.

Sorry for laughing, but I guess we are too use to it. Around here we pass out paper towels for all the spilled coffee.
No place on this planet is safe from earthquakes or other natural disasters. Know and prepare, that simple.

PS;
Don't dive under anything during an earthquake, it will make you just as flat. Don't get into a doorway, if the wall shift laterally your wall paper. Get next to something thick and strong. It will create a space you can survive in.

Daughter says the kid's school roof partially collapsed, but no damage to her house other than a few pictures fell off the wall.

Now waiting for the prez' broadcast to say it was all Bush's fault..........

We can only hope that his teleprompter fell to the floor and sustained damage beyond repair.

FYI - For those of you that felt this, feel free to log it in at the US Geological Services website.

Felt it out and up here in northwest Jersey too. That's the third one in a year.

I have a cobblestone foundation. Mudd Morter. Kind of scarey. But I had the forsite of bracing the floors and framing most of the walls to keep them together. 135 year ols house has it's good points and bad.

That was your false teeth after too many beers.

I see you didn't roll the wheel chair into the server this time.

He's too busy golfing...

They (Chicago News) said the quake was felt here but I never felt the ground move today. i'm sure if it was felt our coal fired plants probaby tripped out...again. They trip if the wind shifts direction.
