Don't even get me started on the 'Stang. I've got my eyes on a GT500 but can't make myself pull the trigger plus the wife is still happy driving the '03 CTD. I sure wish she didn't like it because it'd be mine and she could have a 'Stang. Maybe someday.......

Yeah, the last resurgence was when GM decided 65,000 vehicles a year wasn't a large enuff market to keep producing a rear wheel drive car, so Ford was the default. Bet GM would like that market now.

Gotta admit, I like the Mustang way better than the Camaro at least in the looks department, not a big fan of OHC V-8s though. Somehow they just can't seem to run with them old tech valve in heads...

You are aware that many vehicle engine use a Hemi design, right? Dodge just owns the rights to the name Hemi. Also if you were not aware the present Dodge Hemi's aren't true Hemi's as they were back in the day.
IIRC Ford joined the "Hemi" area in the 60's with the 429 Boss series of engines. They were aluminum heads and were of hemisperical design.
I always loved the old Mustangs but never owned one. We had a 64.5 convertible, 289 powered in the early 70's. Dad bought it when we got relocated to Pendleton in So Cal. Wish he would've kept that one, and the 64 Chevelle SS they got for their wedding gift!

This new engine being spoke of, the 6.2 liter "boss" is supposed to be making its debut in the new f150 svt raptor. If ya'll havent seen that, look it up. Its about time they make a v8 that has more power than the rest.
I saw a Raptor back around Nov time frame driving on I-10 when I was heading towards San Antonio to go to the deerlease.
Yea its been out since then. Its only option is the 5.4 right now. The 6.2 will be available this spring. Them things are way cool, 35's on it already and true performance suspension and 7" wider than a normal f150.
