Afternooner all!
Break-up is starting up here and the temps are in full swing these days. -15* at night and 25-30* during the days! The sun has some heat to it too!

Been real busy around the igloo up here and unfortunately I'm not at full strength right now. Had an MRI done on Friday and the Doc called that afternoon to tell me about a huge bulging disc in my neck. that explains my back/shoulder/arm pain and numbness..... Saw a neurosurgeon's PA today and it was confirmed. Easy enough for me to see on the pics they showed me without any explanation....... Gonna have to have surgery to fix it up. not what I was looking forward to but the nerve pain right now is horrible and keeps me up at night. That makes me tired and is starting to make me cranky......

The good news is the procedure is fairly simple (as far as neurosurgery is concerned) and recovery time is short. Good thing too, I got lots of work to do before Mama has the new kid.........

They were good. I want to make them sometime with ground venison or bison instead of the beef. I also am going to be growing a type of tomato this year that is meant for stuffing. might use the stuffed pepper recipe and subsitute the mater for the pepper.

Evening DTR. Happy Pi Day to everyone.

Well I had a good day till I was time to go home from work. Got about 3 miles down the road from work and BANG. Truck infront of my kicked up some crud on the road and one piece of it was a small towel that happened to some how make it into the engine compartment and get tangle and mangled in my serpentine belt! So the serpentine belt broke apart and when it did it busted up part of the fan shroud. The wife sent a tow truck to fetch me and the dodge and take me home.Glad she work in insurance and deal with towing companies alot because she called the one she gives a lot of business too. So they came out, picked me up and took me and the truck home at no charge. I spent 2 hrs after I got home cleaning the mess up under the hood, that towel go shreded and was EVERYWHERE possible. So the wife is on her way home from work now with a new belt for me. YAY! After I get the new belt on the truck I'm gonna relax.

Wife had that - - swinging her carry on bag into the overhead on a plane. They gave her the option - - operate or let it heal. She chose let it be. She hurt for about a year and still has to be careful. Just remember what you did to make it squash - - don't repeat and it will be easier next time.

Shoveled more snow away and lots is melting.
Painted all the trim in the bathroom. Needs a second coat. I am too big to be painting a bathroom.

SEAL hurled up some regurgitated fish for the dragon...they sure are getting along nice. Smells a bit but not as bad as a failed Depends on one of them ole Pharts.

Lary came in with some kind of loaded weapon muttering about a large donut gone missing. He is over by the recliners with Bobby's Speedo paint smiling at his LEGGS. I suggest we all clear the room.

Tell that to my boss!

Actually got tomorrow off and plan on some scouting and picking up some new wading shoes.

Sounding like I'ts gonna be an easy summer to make up for all the crap we've ben put through the last year. The new dispatch won't be set up over there for a few months, so we'll be twittling our thumbs. Should be easy to get time off. Probably take my vacation about the end of June anyway. Also, keep in mind either 4th of July for Luther logging Days or the following wekend for the Baldwin Trout Festival.

Normally when somebody throws in the towel things get easier.

I have a niece who's husband manages cranberry farms so I have spent time in Brookings, Bandon, Coos Bay etc. I like that area. If property close to the ocean wasnt so expensive I would move there.

Evenin' all!

Cooking spaghetti for dinner. Garlic bread too......

Fiver- I usually try not to do things that hurt more than once. Pretty good at it too but this time I don't have a clue what did it. I felt things tighten up while surfing the net..... DTR actually...... One of you Admins got a comp form for me to fill out?.....

Got some outside stuff done in the nice afternoon weather. Working on getting the hardpack off the driveway. Didn't get it all cleaned up after the mid winter rain so this spring is gonna be fun to clean up.....

It might have something to do with the fact that we all know what you're thinking but we never know what Scott is.

Mom, I just started some of the seeds for my garden this year. I have some small seedlings growing now. Gonna grow alot of tomatoes this year along with nice variety of carrots, radishes, peppers (hot and sweet), greens, turnips, peas, cucumbers, onions, and some herbs. Wife is excited to start the garden this year and the flowers.

I'm glad the SEAL puked that fish up this morning, he at my lunch on accident and was able to get it back...Lunch box and all! I saw the SEAL and Dragon outside earlier playing Jump rope with the Janitor's Hair, they get along very well!

Clear the room but while doing that we can use the Janitor as a shield. His Hair will eat the bullets.

After getting the truck back together tonight I found out I had more things wrong. Whatever my fan chewed up today was sucked into the alternator and caused it to fry along with the 140 amp fusible link. It's fine because the alt is under warranty but I can't find the fusible link in town tonight, gotta wait till tomorrow to get it. Autozone in town only carries up to 80 amp but the local store should have the 140 amp in stock. So The truck is all together minus the fusible link. Mom let me borrow the 300 until i get the truck back on the road, I feel bad because i'm driving it to the power plant tomorrow. Guess i'll owe her a nice wash/wax/detail on the car for letting me use it.

Dinner tonight was subway since I was too busy to cook.
