All this high level conversation has tired me out. Going to bed and try not to have nightmares about all this, this, um, er, this- "intelligence" being flung around in the breakroom.
Night, guys, gals and sheep.

nice thread start Stan, well- you tried, trolls just invaded. couple really really great members posted to make it great though!

and you wonder why you got tagged! 30 years experience calling them as i see 'em. you want a better title? try DTR's provocative thinker. hehehe

up early tomorrow to sit around and wait. as a volunteer specialist. have to take it off my taxes...more and more coming out on this missing 22 year old story. still have to sharpen chain and cut up logs too. already wasted one nice day...now this. and no pay.

still have too much gear, agree bark- got to get rid of half of it and some tanks.

Don, best thing is too come up next to a fisherman's boat, hooked. after two heart attack scares it is not worth it anymore. but you should see all the big fish down there who think I am one of them...if we get to eat 'em, I'll do it!

anytime Matt! free maple syrup too.

sorry chaikwa, didn't know what thread but now I do. thought it was farm related....

Also got rid of my ski's and a small abount of climbing gear. Couldnt use them diving anyway. Its kind of weird "out growing" hobbies that used to be so much fun.

Morning people. And Stan.

Today is Thursday, March 17th.

On this day in 0461 - Bishop Patrick, St. Patrick, died in Saul. Ireland celebrates this day in his honor. (More about St. Patrick's Day)

1756 - St. Patrick's Day was celebrated in New York City for the first time. The event took place at the Crown and Thistle Tavern.

1766 - Britain repealed the Stamp Act that had caused resentment in the North American colonies.

1776 - British forces evacuated Boston to Nova Scotia during the Revolutionary War.

1886 - 20 Blacks were killed in the Carrollton Massacre in Mississippi.

1930 - Al Capone was released from jail.

1942 - Douglas MacArthur became the Supreme Commander of the Allied forces in the Southwestern Pacific.

1944 - During World War II, the U.S. bombed Vienna.

1950 - Scientists at the University of California at Berkeley announced that they had created a new radioactive element. They named it "californium". It is also known as element 98.

1961 - The U.S. increased military aid and technicians to Laos.

1962 - Moscow asked the U.S. to pull out of South Vietnam.

1966 - A U.S. submarine found a missing H-bomb in the Mediterranean off of Spain.

1972 - U.S. President Nixon asked Congress to halt busing in order to achieve desegregation.

1973 - The first American prisoners of war (POWs) were released from the "Hanoi Hilton" in Hanoi, North Vietnam.

1989 - A series of solar flares caused a violent magnetic storm that brought power outages over large regions of Canada.

1992 - White South Africans approved constitutional reforms to give legal equality to blacks.

2009 - The iTunes Music Store reached 800 million applications downloaded.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Isn't it scary that the word "therapist" is the same as the words "the" and "rapist" put together?

Coffee is ready. Stan made tortilla donuts.

Special kind of effort from me for him.
I call it SEALED TWICE PHOO.

Morning, donuts are quite cooperative today, dig in. Some Killian's on the menu for tonight, keep out of the guinees, that's reserved the for mad hatter. Can't do corned beef myself, so I picked up some summer sausage with some swiss cheese on the side to substitute.
