Only got it stuck in the sand once (see picture) and the tide sort of rose above the hood for a few days until I could pull it out. The windows were closed so no fish or sand got into the car to stink it up and after drying it out it runs fine. Interior baked dry-- has a little ocean smell. Cigarette lighter doesn't work- mechanic said it could be an electrical short. Perfect car for surfers and non-smokers!

 

Oh yeah....now there is a real bargain

 

At least the guy has a sense of humor

Hurricane Hugo filled my car with some water when I left it on the base in CHASN. Had to get new padding and and the carpet was pulled and steam cleaned. Couldn't tell after that. Was surprised, thought I would be smelling ocean forever in it.
