I like the grill. Really tough looking. Hopefully they will do something similar with the F-150 in another year or so.

I'm afraid they used up their creativeness right there! It's bad enough having to argue against 10 Chevy guys with very little to come back with other than Wanna Race!

I was just thinking the same thing. They've been using the same steering wheels for years. Plus there's just something about the layout of a Ford dash that doesn't sit well with me.

It started with the F150 redesign and now they are Dodgifying the SuperDuty...nice innovation? At least their planning to up the tow/haul specs, look for the other 2 to follow suite.

I must say, their marketing is pretty good. Sweet looking truck, but very "Dodge like." They really are copying Dodge, both with the F-150 redesign and the Super Duty line.

I went to look at DieselStop last night...Some scary stuff! I am not sure if the owners are thrilled that they got new truckd to replace the lemons, but everyone actually does seem to have a "it almost got me killed twice last week, and spends more time with the dealer than with me, but this is the best truck on the planet!" type story!!

I read about several annoyances on this forum, but they are nothing like what I read over at DieselStop!! I haven't heard of anyone here having the rocker shafts broken in 4000 miles, or the tranny downshift to 1st, over revving the engine, etc.

I love my Dodge!!!

I've never, and will never, liked that boxy body style. It's too urban looking...looks like a Lego-mobile or something...

Did you notice? it even has a bag hook! They weren't innovative with everything!

Oh yes, I visit the site often. A lot of unhappy campers there. Seems so many have hook up their trailers heading out on vaction only to be F-O-R-D ( found on the road dead ) from hoses popping off of intercoolers to the ic themselves expoloding to the truck just dying for who knows why. I've even seen a couple of guys speaking highly of the cummins over there.

But, how can they make this statement?? Cast-iron construction makes the Power Stroke® not just quiet, but also the longest lasting diesel engine.* Since this is a relatively new engine how is this possible??

Ask the guys who got the last version of the 7.3. The 03 7.3 engines had powder rods instead of the old forged iron and they bent them with as little as 300 ponies. Pretty funny.

Wasn't Dodge also the first to come out with a 4 door extended/Super cab truck? First production truck with a V-10. All things that Ford also coppied. How about the 6-speed transmission, did Dodge introduce this or Ford?

Ford had the ZF 6 speed in 99, Dodge in 2000, I think.
