don't you think the vins a little char-broiled? rendering it useless in another truck if you can't put it in the dash where they all are?

I would say they are more crusty than heated now.

"Front tires are brand new!! ...but melted."

You really think there is anything left in the engine compartment? It looks pretty torched to me. Really, reading the whole article up to that picture I was thinking that it might not be a bad deal if the engine was in decent shape.... then I saw that picture. Ouch.

well... I guess that's what happens when they mistakenly drop in that "Ford Cummings" engine....

Why does everyone add a "G" to it? Is it really that difficult to spell or pronounce?

-correction- why do ALOT of people add a "G" to it?

With the amount of heat involved in the cab and frame area, I would be VERY reluctant to use any of the sheet metal or frame for a rebuilder, ESPECIALLY since most of the new trucks are using "hydroformed" steel on their frames. Applying heat to those frames is a big NO-NO.

Don't actually need the vin plates. Just the papers. In the 80's I used to visit the "block" (auction) to buy wrecks that we would fix up and put back on the road. We would see a mustang or camaro go through that was fully burned or beyond any parts go for huge money. People washing vin #s Lots of places will make a vin plate for you.

It is a car dealer. Probably meant to type 11,060 and did not know how to retract it. I could see the 8500, but over ten thousand, it is getting rediculous.
