2003 Chevy 3500 dual climate control AC problem
Trying to help a buddy out - wondering if any of you have experience with a 2003 Chevy (or similar) dual climate control… He posted a question on a Duramax forum and the best he got was “Are you pushing the * button…?”
Here’s the deal – A/C is not working consistently. He found that if he pulls a fuse marked HVAC for a minute and replaces it then sometime later in the day his A/C will start working. It will work for a couple days then it will quit again. No power to the connector at the compressor and has over 150 psi in the system (not sure where he measured that).
Any ideas on where to start looking for the issue?

Could possibly be a faulty low pressure switch. It is usually located on the larger line near the evaporator (under the hood). That is about the only thing that will cut power to the compressor, at least on older models.
