Hooked at the local pull tonight and pulled 314' closest to me was at 275' by a stock durmax dually auto (04) 4door 4x4. then a Dodge and another Dodge and then a ford and ....

But I was happy as heck. Bent my hitch that I was useing a little bit but alls good. Won a nice trophy and 80 bucks. They had to stop me because I was takeing the sled home as my trophy. Guy started waveing his hands and "yelling shut her down shut her down"
Everybody said they could not see my truck at the end of the track because of all the smoke. Heck I let off of it half way down the trach.. mashed back into it and was still speeding up after I hit the 300' mark.

I had a great time but wished I could have made muncie. but it worked out and I'm haveing a blast. Thanks to J.R Atkins and Peter at SBC for the power and getting it to the ground.

Don't know about the pics. it was a little dark so I don't know if they took. There is going to be another oull next weekend which I will be hooking at. Maybe this time I can use my front weight bracket. Took a look at my reese hitch on my truck and it is bent and ready to break off. Glad I waited it out and did not hook the second time or It would have been a full pull but only me crossing the 300' mark Now all I need to do it put my HD valve springs in so I can hold her down to 4k and go.

Dang bro CONGRATS...BTW How much do those sled's weigh?

 

I don't know how much it weighed but I don't think it was a really heavy sled. It stopped the stock HP guys who just ran out of Power at the end but I never even felt the weight hit the front of the sled. A durmax with a 100 horse chip almost pulled pretty good but he was in ahigher weight class than me. Same sled weight different truck weight.

I pulled in 3rd low but I bet I could have ran a higher gear.
I don't know the EGT or boost because both guages were pegged at about half track. I would not think you would want to run tire pressure that low. I would have to blow a tire off the rim pulling. My rpms were around 3600 because if I pushed it anymore the valves would start to float and make the engine miss and studder.

the PSI in the tires I run are only about 10 pounds under what the tire says to run them at.
I might have to rig up something lol.

Itsnot a good hitch really. just one I bought and bolted to my bumper. I have a aftermarket bumper with just a hole in the end to hok a trailer. Since I change trailers so much I needed a reese hitch so i bought a reciever that hat a plate on top of it and two holes for bolts in it. the few 3" spot welds on the front sides and back did not hold on the front or sides.
