1960's-1970's JD 400

Would anyone happen to know the wheel base of a 1960's-early 70's 400 loader. I need to go pick one up and the guy has no idea how wide or long it is so i need to make sure it will fit on my trailer. thanks

I don't know the length of one, but to give you an idea here's a pic of the trailer I used to haul a John Deere 300 backhoe. We put the front bucket up on top of the spare tire. The trailer deck is 16 feet with 4 feet of dove tail for a total of 20. That little 300 was heavy, more than I like to haul, a 400 is going to be a little heavier.

What kind of trailer do you have?
