1500 heater core issues

My son bought a 2003 used he purchased an exstended warranty with it .
Its got the 4.7 V8 its on its 6 th heater core lots of things have been checked Thermostat radiator an cap no head gaskets seem to be blown . They did pull the water pump an it appears that there is an erroision takeing
place proubly because someone mixed green antifreeze with the red . They did an exstinsive flush of block an coolant system an put an additive to try
an stop electrolasus forgive my spelling . But no mater what the truck tends to run hot an all these heater cores have an aluminum matrerial inside . Its like this thing is eatting itself up from the inside of the water jacket an building pressure in the heater core weird . Anyway the warranty people say they want put a new motor in untill someone gives them a logical cause .
Have any of you heard of anything like this ?
