Boy, considering the history, I'd have to be a bit nervous to be sitting in that thing when they poke the button...

I sure wish them a safe and smooth trip.

I wish then the best !!!

Even though the technicians say that there is nothing to worry about with the messed up fuel gauge ... I ain't so sure I would want to be a few thousand miles away from home (straight UP) when I discovered they were WRONG !!!

Like being away from home when your fuel pressure gage goes out.

Thumbs up Safe Journey..

Good luck to all of them and have a safe journey home.

Hope they don't have any problems with the crank position sensor.

I just think that it is wild that that thing as heavy as it is does 0 to 900 mph in 60 seconds, and five minutes after lightin the sucker off it weighs less than half of takeoff weight due to the amount of fuel it has burned........ talk about bad mileag! - gas guzzler tax???

something else that is pretty funny (well not really) is the space shuttle destroys ozone every time it goes up.
from San Francisco Chronical and other news sources:

"Every time the space shuttle is launched, 250 tons of hydrochloric acid is released into the air. With each launch, .025 percent of the ozone is destroyed. So far, the space shuttle has destroyed 10 percent of the ozone."

kind of makes you wonder about freon huh? is it okay as long as NASA is doing it? don't get me wrong... i love the space program, just seems like a double standard.

i could be wrong though.
