Afternoon all,
Nice weather in Houston, sunny and in the 70's AKpaul had warmer weather than some around here. Then there is LuckBobontheBeach.
Did two post to this thread yeasterday, they never showed up. Prolly operator error, or computer not happy for some reason.
Chaikwa, lets see if I got this right. Coffee goes in a caraf, it ain't coffee that comes out of a giraffe, and camels are for racing. Love to see jockey Wannabe racing one.

Gotta go pick up a kidlett from the think tank in a few.
Got brisket slooooow cooking, mad a DrPepper marinade, wheil looking on the web DuallyDog lives where you can get the ORginal Dr Pepper, made with the original reciepe and Imperial cain sugar. Texas Originals.

A film gal sent me the camel race thread where I win; lose my shirt, and fall off all in about three seconds last year (camels move at about 35mph). luckily, I don't know how to post a link to the youtube thread.

MADHAT!! this low voice took a lickin' this AM when helping with the
high school boys PT workout challenge (optional) that simulates basic training.
I just called cadence/song and announced exercises...whew!
VERY NICE to see the volunteer 22 VETS from WW II, Korea and VietNam
show up to support, instruct, mentor these kids that COULD have stayed in bed and played video games on their spring break.
better yet, these were kids that didn't go out for sports teams and weren't the popular ones from school. they thought it was cool that anyone could come and TRY.....Rules were best in skill wins for that age. period. got metal figurine athlete trophy (thank you Ebay!) everyone got a Mcdonald's gift certificate and a participant ribbon. Vets teamed with kid to stratagize (focus on one skill or do 'em all) and mentored (cop in me let no 'one on one's' though- love many;trust few). seperate pin for completing all Basic training exercises. You can do anything WHEN you put in the effort . was the message most kids got. tears and smiles I got. I am goin to bed!!!
Scotty, your pup JAKE was amazing with the kids and crowds!!!! He did complete the AKC Canine Good citizenship test, he is just too young to be certified. You DO however, owe my son a half day of his life back!! I promised to get him a gun permit after we were done. Drove to the county building and he needs to be 21 years old, cannot have it. He took it well though.
(He enjoyed helping the kids too) it is a great thing for the young men in our communities to have some support like this. bad people and liberals need not apply.
Hope everyone 's day was a productive one!!!!!

I'm here, bottom of the ladder admin guy. Pretty much sums it up when you get assigned to guard the break room coffee cups and janitorial closet.
I've been working!
AND my project plane is getting delivered this weekend, weather permitting. Sold 2 houses, and 4, 20 acre lots! Whoohoo! In this market that is a good thing!
