Finally figured out the new coffee pot controls, now I need to adjust the amount of coffee to water ratio so I can wind up with coffee that I can't read the newspaper through.

Not too much on the list.....yet.
I'm sure that will change shortly.

Temps in the mid 40s heading for the mid 70s.
Chilly ride in on the G-G this morning.

morning folks.

monday is over. flagged driveway for grader. tried to sight in a rifle. high and left at 25 yds. not even on paper at 50. got some work to do on that one...and some better ammo. Wolf HP ain't the most accurate. Time ot get my boy on that dirt bike. wasn't ready before. now, he is asking to ride. gotta love the two wheels.

time for the . meetings lined up today.day FULL of DWI as some folks would say.

That's what the mirrors are for. You look at 'em in the mirrors so you aren't looking directly at them. It's more discrete and the wife has a harder time telling.
And when she asks why you are sweating profusely and why your right eye is twitching, you just tell her you were straining with some heavy weights (this usually works for me).

Weather is great! High in the 70's lows in the 40's. Perfect!

Now if it will just stay this way all winter!

 

What a mess last night. The snow storm dropped a lot of heavy wet snow. There is about 3-4 inches out here. Trees were breaking limbs and power lines were sagging into the tops of trees. I keep shoveling snow off the deck till 9pm MST...

It going to be CTD truck day for me... No doubt about it this morning. Hoping the people slow down and quite driving like fools on icy roads!

I got to admit everything is WHITE this morning! It's really kind of nice...

 

Partly cloudy, be in the 80's again. Been home over a week from Portland. Bad cold, kaff kaff sore throat, and now an ear ache, painfull. Also gave wife cold, not appricated.
Back went out, 5trips to the Chriopractor. and gonna get lifts in the shoes.
Guess I'm falling apart.
5er moved to new spot. Resort will be adding modular homes and took all the big spots.
Had coffee ration, guess eyes will open wider now.
Internet wireless is slow. not enuff bandwith now that the snow birds are comming back. but it is back up. was down for a week.
Trip to Germany Xled. daughter is fed up and moving back to Texas. Our trip with cargo trailer delayed. Prolly go next week.

Also sick as a dog. Bad cold that started Sunday night. Ruff two nights trying to sleep. Staying home today for a little R&R.

Scotty & Mopar: white stuff???? What white stuff???? From the sky????? Does not sound like fun - - head south, young man, head south. Gorgeous here again today - - almost boring this time of the year. Everyday is sunny, high 70's or low 80's, low 60's at night, flowers blooming all over the place, Sand Hill Cranes knocking at the door wanting a handout, parrots squaking in the trees - - how wonderful.

Plumbing done and passed inspection this morning - - last of the drywall patches in the morning, then I can finish the base trim, tile, doors on, cabinets reset, shelves back in, contents all reset, then collapse - - all this on a busted up back. Fun. Think I will say fooey on it and head for the pool. YEH What dear??? You tripped on the junk in the middle of the floor - - you want some shelves so you can put it away - - yes dear. Oh well, the pool was a nice thought.

Lots of heavy wet snow on the ground. Hot Coffee...mmmm One Button to push.
While I was training down in Phoenix, some of the aerobic gals were challenging my training partner and myself to taking one of their classes since they did weights too.
We took the challenge. Ten minutes into the class I knew I was either going to collapse or . I looked over at Paul and he yelps... Help Me .
Then my legs started cramping up and I hit the floor. HA HA HA very funny.
So I curled up into the fetal position and pulled out this little white cloth I had and waved it.
We later learned it was one of those advanced step classes. Judging by the physiques of these ladies...there was no doubt they were in EXCELLENT shape.
Paul had to leave as he was going to hurl. We did make it half way through the one hour class but it was a nasty sight. LOL
Who'd of ever thought an 8" step could take down a grown man in less then an hour.
The next part of the challenge was for them to go through one of our workouts with weights they could do. Lets just say that the score was dead even after that.

Time to go shovel more snow.

that ain't no joke. mosquitos out in full force about dusk. A buddy has shot 5 deer so far and I haven't been out yet. Gotta play catch up. That'll never happen. That old boy has it down pat. Shot more deer in the past 3 seasons than I probably ever will. - JKE
