good weekend thus far, -18 yesterday AM with a vicious north wind, turned to -30C before sundown.

Woke up this morning to a slight breeze and -45C. first one below the big 4 0 this season.

Does this bother me, no. I'd have to be in my right mind for that. Yesterday was play " start the dozer and get it off the trailer " today was " change the hydraulic pump, and clean up the mess "

Yay. Weather gurus talking coolish temperatures for the balance of the week, although the wind seems to be changing. Oh well, some hot beverages, some work ethic, and a little willpower go a long way still.

SR, a pony tail, beard, Willie Nelson........ my goodness man, what's next??? A Harley???

Pind, I don't like cold weather wrenching either.

Hat, maybe you ought to wait before you add the nitrous to the cart.

And finally Chris, come in late and start throwing ordinance early. Don't you have some doors to shake.............outside?

Hopefully Cin will hit the launch button this morning.

TR, no hog. However, I do have a '72 Norton Commando that in in boxes. Gonna do a full frame up restoration on it. May have to go with the old Brando or McQueen look when I ride it.
Wonderful day starting in the Bat Cave. Got a mod team coming in to upgrade some equipment. Only issue is getting the user units to get the stuff in here. May have to show the hiney early.

SR, I've got a buddy in Ohio that restores and trades in British bikes and parts. If you need something, let me know and I'll hook you up with him.

mornin all

-30*C here this AM and thats not with any wind chill. With the good old wind factored in it's -40*C. Freezes exposed skin in a couple of minutes or less. Equipment doesn't like operating in conditions like that pind especially hydraulic pumps and hoses. Metal seems to break a lot easier too.

The inappropriate use of government munitions for the soul purpose of scaring the crap out of sleeping persons will not be tolerated. Section 1 subsection A,B and sometimes C. Now who's going to clean this mess up? No wonder everyone is a little skittish when the door slams. It's not the caffeine at all.

Glad the little Hat is going to be alright. Although pics of both of you with casts on would be something to talk about when he gets older. Remember when...
Yea we know she's a good wife, has to be to put up with you. Should be in line for Sainthood.

Hope the start of the work week is a good one for all. Try and stay warm and dry. Later...

Back at it today, working with the "raingirl" again. Maybe I should start calling her Lenny and see if she ever picks it up? Bruce, I know how you feel. Half the time it sounds like choir practice in here with all the "me, me, me's" flying around. At least I had a lot of seat time on the tractor to relax Saturday. Did a little wood cutting and even a bit of welding last night. Oh, new member to the family, for a trial anyways. Two Memorial days a go, my buddy came over with his family to show off his new golden retriever pup. I had my sisters healer for soem remedial training that week and he ended up grabbing her, Bailey, by the hind quarters and did a number on her. No blood and didn't think it was that bad, but she had a bad limp her first year. When they took her to be spade, the doc had to leave an overy because of too much scar tissue. Said if he went after it it could kill her. So she still comes into heat, though she can't get pregnant. Got to be too much trouble with my buddies mastiff every time she comes into heat. So now I have two ladies at home and wondering if I need to finally finish the 2nd bath.

Believe it or not, extending your left pinky isn't actually dignified either....

Kaley acts all annoid, but a couple times this morning she started slipping up... they know each other already though. At least Bailey has been out with a gun a couple times.
