Apple or any of the fruit trees is good for smoking. Get a good smoke on it first, then wrap in foil and let er rip.

Still way behind on getting the job jar empty.
Didn't know the breakroom had a floor
All the talk about selling things on E-bay, when we get a lot of the junk, treasures sorted and moved to Texas going to take it to the E-Bay store. The do all the work, advertising, pix, shipping and they get 30% or something like that.
DC, Turkey day is gonna be here at the house, have a few friends coming over. Doing it in the smoker. Gonna try this: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Turkey-...er/Detail.aspx

5er, I think Bigfoot makes the best coffee, don't know about the foo-foo.
Pool calling you yet?

ChrisR nice pix, both of you and the horse, thanks for posting it.

HAT it is not the hotdogs that are putting on the weight, it is the round sprinkley things you steal from TOP. Or the bon-bons you eat while playing computer games, with your feet up on the desk.

Wannabe, relax and have fun, you work too hard. slow down, as you go down the road, stop and read the trivia markers.

Fronty, have a good trip home. Enjoy it while you can. How about steak, eggs, biskets, and grits for breakfast, with the eggs cooked the way you like 'um. And whatever you like to wash it down with.

Now to see what the rest of the day brings. Murphy 5, Davey 1

Have a good un, and be safe out there.

Wink smarter and wiser shipper here....

oh goodness- three hours directly wrapping and boxing stuff at the post office, all friendly folks, first name and grandkids basis-- they told me what was a lower cost for this or that, what was better shipped flat rate. really had to have a program to sort it all out. I like my rural carrier TOO MUCH to have her pick it all up (52 items today)......
everybody takes their cut; 100 bucks just for fees and paypal acceptance.
got to watch the shipping costs, and wrap stuff decent.
I guess I am too honest for EBay, keep costs low for buyers. but 250 bucks from laying around stuff will clear out the clutter and go towards NY's outrageous land taxes. always be on the lookout for scammers too...

tired heidi in ny......looking for my version of fiverbob's pool.....

bathtub.....

Try New Hampsha if you think your taxes are high! The family camp, one story, (barely), 12 X 30 on 1/4 acre, no utilities, unmaintained one lane gravel/mud road and no town services = $2400.00 per year. I remember when that place was only $700 a year!

How you enjoying that Florida weather 5ver? Prob'ly NEEDED the phoo this mornin' huh?

Placed 200 yards of crushed gravel on our 1/2 mile farm road today. I can actually use 4th gear in the tractor now!

Evenin' coffee is ready for those of you that want it.

Evenin, all. Got the OOD tonight, (officer of the day). Things are quiet, I hope that they stay that way. Ran into some old friends on my tour this evening, it was good to see them. The Bn vehicle is a jeep liberty, probably an 05-06... man that thing is a piece of garbage. Cheep as all get out, and LOW to the ground. Felt like if I hit a bump, I'd be missing skin off my rear... Turned sharp, tho.

Back to work!

I gotta go to the inlaws and listen to my wife complain about them.
And listen to them complain about all the food they cooked for a dozen people.
there will be about a 5 pound ham, a 10 pound turkey (cooked the day before and reheated in places) 10 pound bag of taters used for mashed potoatoes, tater salad, a couple dozed deviled eggs, a pan of stuffing made in the largest foil roasting pan you get from walmart, couple cans of corn, couple cans of green beans and if last years is an indication, 2 pies for each person. Oh, and about 4 dozen rolls because "they know how I like to have rolls with my dinner"

but this will all be over my 11 or so...

Evenin' y'all,

Made it back home after 11 hours of travel time . The gal who set up the flight plan REALLY needs to have a US map !! From Boston, fly over Missouri to Dallas and then fly back to Missouri .... it would be ok if I was the one collecting the sky miles.

Either way ... made it home in time to go to my interview. Didn't leave there feeling too positive ... time will tell I s'pose.

Gotta stoke the fire and see what movie Mrs. Pistol has picked out for the evening.

Have a good urn ~!~!

I think what you're saying is that they're so pretty they make you look good. But the way it reads is that they're so ugly, even you guys look good. I would definitely NOT let Mrs Rad see that!

Hay Hat, wanna turn on the coffee before you leave in the mornin' please?

Im only gonna say this once, and it really pains me to say it...

Californians are not all bad

ok, that being said. Ive got a long layover in LAX, so I grab a room at the radisson at LAX. Go down for dinner. the gentleman ask if I would like a drink before dinner. Sure, bring me a single Jim Beam. He come back with a tumbler full Im talking about a 6 ounce glass of bourbon with three cubes of ice. I was expecting 1.5 ounces of whisky, not 6 ounces.

Oh well, I feeel good now, the steak was nice, a bit over done, but I expected that and compensated on my order so I got a nice medium steak. the red wine was a bit sweet for my taste, but it was nice too.

Considering where you are, you're just lucky he didn't return with a male escort.

Talking Oh Man Rick, spurted ginger ale out on that one!

funny stuff, and I was feeling sorry for the FRONTY man....in laws and wife thing...blah blah.....some people like that sort of thing. i like football at those times....or fixing stuff.

T RAD, do NOT become engrossed (hehehe) in the new poll......we have seen you in duct tape and it would not be pretty with all three of your chins....er ah mugs , the three of you guys...ya that's it...

got folks out to hunt, every bed and couch taken, looks like a frat house for A+ students as all went to bed about 9PM

I will slowly get up around 8AM and wander up to the corner of the property where some neighbor has decided he can hunt on my land. silly boy, guns are for girls/land owners.... they have about three deer off of me already but shame on them.
hope all you hunters do well! I need something for the freezer....

Heidi glad CHAIKWA is a bro and will let us hunt out there if we come up empty......
