Morning TRad and Shorts. I'm a bit late today....oh well, I'm alive and healthy....things could always be worse. I guess you put the coffee on Shorts? Thanks a bunch. Gonna surf some news sites for a bit and see what kind of depressing stuff the media is putting out for the day.

Ya'll have a good day and stay safe. Lord help Chaikwa while he's on the road....perhaps, Lord help the other drivers while Chaikwa is on the road!

T-Rad told me you'd do anything to get in my drawers. I guess he was right.

Afternoon everyone. Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for ME!

So, the breakroom has been really quiet the last couple of days but I just saw something that made me laugh so loud I have to share. Apparently someone in Michigan started a big apartment fire trying to cooks squirrel with a blow torch. That is a Merkin thing, a Canuck thing or a Redneck thing, that is just a FUNNY thing!!

Ok, I just read the 'Oh My Gosh' thread that Irocpractice started. Apparently I am not the first to stumble across this nugget of intelligence.

Or a dark absorber.

Morning all. A little history for you, Chaikwa was here yesterday, at least in spirit. Where he was mentally is still a guess, he's still on the road.

Howdy Neighbors!!
In case anyone didn't catch this little tidbit from T-Rad, it is FRIDAY!!!

What a gong show it was in Calgary for the last 48 hours. As forecast, it rained early Wednesday afternoon, then while still raining, the temp dropped below freezing. So, we ended up with a layer of ice on the roads with a snow on top. Police and Emergency crews had to responded to something silly like 75 different collisions during the morning rush hour yesterday and Wednesday evening was even worse.

Luckily that little weather blip is over and we are supposed to be back up around 15C / 60F for the next week.

Have a great day y'all. I will likely stop in for a libation this evening.

Waiting for the rice burner to warm up enough so I don't stick to it when I finish shoehorning the right strut in.
