Had a nice 6x6 walk by my windows at work the other day. Was close enough to the windows that I could see his whiskers.

Season opened today, but no time to go out.

Fax is set to recieve tenderloin.....

Thanks Shovelhead. I was beginning to think my internal clock, which has historically been accurate within a couple minutes, was starting to go hoopty.

Glad to hear that someone will get the chance to start a proper ummmm Dare I say Water Cooler, thread. hmmm

anyway, saturday night, pork chops in the oven, life is good.

Was going to start this, guess I wasn't up early enough.
Oh well, have a fabulous week everyone.
Dad's birthday today, have no idea what to get him.
Coffee is on, only one donut left.
Someone needs to go get some more.
Later.
Rich

Morning everyone .... actually, it is noon time here and time for the first half liter of beer of the day. I finally rolled outta the sack and threw on my britches so I could go do a little sight-seeing. Gonna go take a gander at Hohenzollern Castle (sp?). Should be a nice day to see it since there isn't many clouds in the sky. This place is waaaay up on top of a mountain and is usually covered with fog / clouds.

Glad to see the Scuttlebutt is well underway for the week ... someone really should sweep up all the ruffled feathers around here though .

Have a great day and fire up the truck for me ... sure do miss B.E.R.T. !!!

A gorgeous Sunday morning down here in Paradise. Wow, it's nice out. Off to church. Back is finally starting to wind down in it's ability to aggravate me, so I might finish baseboards and grouting today on the relayed tile. Then, tomorrow, paint, paint, paint (yeh, I know - - I finally learned which end of the brush to use - - they are really good at Home Depot - especially when you buy a bunch of paint from them), put up doors and shelves - - and then all the "stuff" laying around the floors can get back away. This has been a long ordeal. Don't replumb your house - - burn it. What a crime - - five years old and all this mess.

Off to church this morning, then a luncheon with friends, then work - - boooooo. Have a good day in spite of the feathers and something called Skuttlerump.

Raining here Need it bad tho, so I'm not complaining.
Deer stand nice and cozy this morning. I do need a couple of shotgunners to cover behind me. Fridge is working and you can hunt in your skivey shorts, if so inclined. (not sure how the wife would take to others in their skivies, but she's used to me being that way)
I did take a bit of "camp meat" yesterday. A bit over 200 yds. 0x0. Prone position with feet extended under daughters baby grand. Storm door latched open. A tad bit noisy when that 60 gr. .224 went down range at about 3500 fps. Broke out extra muffs afterwards. Just in case
Rain stopped now. Time to get back on the deer stool( oops stand).

What a hunt of a day! I decided to sleep in, , drink an extra cup of joe, filled up with fuel, and on the way to the deer stand I see a nice 4x4 standing in a neighbor's field. So.......... ............... I dropped that dude where he stood and I was done fer the day! I still had coffee in the cup! Drove over to the unlucky buck and threw him in the pickup and when home. Took all of 15 mins to get my deer this year. Even if I made a "Texas" shot from the road.

My son in law is so PO'ed! He calls me MR. LUCKY.

I have to pay more attention to the timezone conversion. I missed the post again. Although it does seem unfair seeing as I have the geographic advantage

Mornin' everyone.

White Oaks = large tap root... Backhoe x dig + push = downed tree. Time to get a ditch witch up there. Fire wood stacked. sore back.

Chaikwa - ignore the banjo. That's my uncle. completely harmless.

in search of pastry. Actually, I wouldn't mind having one of those omelets and some toast. Should have gotten vertical earlier I guess. mmmmm, looks like I'm gonna have to break down and go get a cathead bisquit from Sharon's place. MMMMMmmmmmm.

Ya'll have a good one. - JKE
