Talking Proud Sponsor of the Return to Normalcy...

well, as close as fun gets with T Rad driving the snack cart.....

Nice to see Josh headed back to school ( Good Luck and great times to ya kid!)
Mexstan getting his dry feet wet again in the big employed world,

Shortround communicating that all is not lost yet...heheh at least until a wire goes or an E4 flips the wrong switch...

Janitor is out on the road doing what he does best, (Good thing DC is 'steering' the drunks down the right path) he reports he is happy, his welding projects are coming along nicely. he forgot to remind us he is handsome, but that might be addressed should he remember to actually DO HIS JOB HERE. ( T rad doing coffee? what's next? Shovel ED scrubbing bathrooms? oh the humanity...)

alright! headed out to cut and weld things with the hubby, we have been getting a treat watching four fawns beg for apples at the fence around 11AM
(we bucket them and toss the apples over, no mess for lawn mowing) no rain here, enjoying the morning at 61 degrees.

THANX again T Rad for starting the thread and putting out the welcome sign for more members! Hope all is well with the MADHATTER sick nurse .. 9 foot BOB

Morning folks ....

Beautiful day in the Ozarks !! Got lots of things to do and even more interruptions to prevent that from happening . I hope to be in for a few days this time but probably won't be .

Coffee was sure good this morning .... not much of a donut person ... where is that plate of scrapple and eggs ???

Enjoy the weekend ... it's coming to a screeching halt sooner than you think !!

Cheers,
PISTOL

Foo is right, starting another pot.

Finally getting some rain, though it's barely punching through the trees. Hopefully things will get back to normal so the salmon run isn't delayed.

I feel you too, SR. Hopefully, in a few months, I won't be working all of them... Keep the faith. Remember, millions on unemployment are depending on you...

Yeah, it's past 90 already here. Good thing is that the humidity is not too bad. I'm getting a little time off with the recruits being sick, me and the other DI that I work with are pulling 24 on, 24 off. We are not doing anything except babysitting. The 3rd hat got moved down to another deck because we are short DI's. I slept for 12 hours straight last night, I was wore out. I rarely sleep more than 8, even when I have the time. 04 came over yesterday, we had lunch, and he picked up some gear that I had for him.
Grandpa is doing really well, I talked to granny this morning, and she said that he is sitting up, and he ate solid food today. They are thinking that he may be going home on Tuesday. Makes me feel a lot better. I do not know if I was going a little overboard, but I think that having a few of your organs removed is pretty serious. Looks like he'll pull though all right.
Talk to everyone in a bit, I'm going to work here in a bit.

Later...

Any visit to the hospital as a patient is to be taken as serious. More than a bandaid, two aspirin and call me in the morning...... Very good news for your grandfather and a loving family that cares....

Late morning here....

Looking for a new nfl team to cheer for. The Seahawks sure didn't do anything last night to impress.....

A quiet day to ruminate and dread the start of another work week.

Mornin all

Well the reunion was great. Everyone getting older but nice to see the next generation coming along. Time to catch up on the coming and goings of all.

Sis was at the house when we got home. She had supper made, just had to set the table. Had a real good night, love her to death.

Take it easy on the hours SR. It's only work it won't go away.

Trad Nice job on the thread. I think you need a PADDLE to stir the pot. That way you can stay back a little and not get any on you when it finally hits the fan.

Chrisr funny stuff about Jack. Showed the wife she sure got a chuckle out of it.

Well have fun and drive safe. Later...

One good piece of advice and twenty "don't look for quarter here" types. That's OK, my fault for following free advice from a lawyer. Let this be a lesson to you all, you get what you pay for. Y'all are fun, hope Sunday is smoooooooth for ya!

It's about 3:30 here and it's a soft rain outside. Sure cooled it off though it's a welcome relief.

I went out with my brother this morning to shoot my SKS and he tried out his new Stoeger 20 ga over/under and his .44 cap and ball pistol. That .44 is a nice gun and he has 2 of them not quite the same model though as one has the top strap and the other is open.

We kilt the heck out of a box which had to have a rock on top to keep it from blowing away. I found out the SKS shoots high at 30 yds as I hit the rock and busted it into several pieces. Man that was spectacular!

Brother tore it up good with his 20 ga but I just had 1 30 rd clip but it was fun ripping off those last 15 as fast as I could. Who needs full-auto? Durn gas piston is sticking though so I need to get it apart to clean it soon. It cycles fine though.

We had to leave when the rain started blowing sideways under the roof of the stand. So far today life is good.
